Today starts the 7 day feast of Unleavened Bread.
In Numbers 33:3 it says that on the day after Passover the Israelites marched triumphantly out of Egypt in the sight of all the Egyptians. 2 Corinthians 2:4 says thanks be to God who always leads us in triumphal procession. Today is a reminder that God always causes us to triumph and he wants to make a victory parade out of it.

Here is a summary of Unleavened Bread
The Feast of Unleavened Bread is celebrate for 7 days by removing all leaven from your diet and replacing it with unleavened bread( Matzo crackers). Jesus said that he is the bread that came down from heaven. Matzo crackers are a symbol of his sinless body. The crackers have piercings and stripes, which remind us that he was pierced for our transgressions and by his stripes we are healed.
The Feast of Unleavened Bread is about understanding righteousness. Jesus bore our sins on the cross, Isaiah 40:2 says that he actually paid double for what our sins deserve. He was separated from God so that we could be brought near.
Jesus made peace with God for us through his body. God poured the cup of his wrath on Jesus, so that you could have the cup of his blessing.
Through his sacrifice you are now righteous in God's sight. His righteousness has been imparted to you. This means that you are right with God not because of your own actions but because of Jesus. You are not right with God because you read your Bible, go to church, tithe, give, serve, etc. You are also not unrighteous because you sin or mess up. Righteousness by faith is a gift God wants to give you but you must receive it and wear it like a robe, because it is given as a robe of righteousness. You must put it on.
The effect of righteousness is peace with God, which means he is for you. He wants to bless you and help you in every area of life, because of Jesus and not because of anything you have done.
Watch out for the temptation of trying to earn God's blessing and favor. The biggest indicator that you understand righteousness is peace, that comes from knowing God is with you and for you all the time.
