Here is a summary of the Feast of Trumpets
The trumpet is a wake up call. It is a call to take action and to exercise your faith. Faith without works is dead. It is a reminder to put off the old self, be renewed in your mind, and put on the new self. It is a reminder that God wants to make us new.
We were buried with Jesus in baptism and raised to new life with him when we came up out of the water.
Trumpets is also a reminder that after Jesus was raised from the dead God seated him at his right hand in heaven far above all the powers of evil, and we are seated with him. The key to this is beginning to view your life from a heavenly perspective and to set your mind on the things of heaven.
Begin to exercise a heavenly perspective in your purpose, health, family, finances, order, time, and community.
Trumpets requires a firm decision to apply your faith and to live in a new way. To start exercising faith in what God has done for you.
As you begin to exercise your faith your levels of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faith, and self-control should all be growing.
Here are some ways to start exercising your faith today...
