Good morning!
Here is today's communion meditation.
A few days ago, I felt like God was highlighting Proverbs 26:2 which says, " Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow, an undeserved curse does not come to rest."
This verse tells us that an undeserved curse is like about a bird jumping around from one place to the next, but he can't come to rest on you, because you've been made righteous in Christ, which means you've been redeemed from the curse of the law and given God's blessing and favor.
God's favor surrounds you like a shield, and the curse can't come to rest, because of the gift of righteousness given in Christ.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us understand how an undeserved curse can't come to rest and how to walk in the fullness of this.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Recently I've been thinking about how to greatly accelerate the results we get in our health and fitness. One of the conclusions I've come to is that to transform our bodies really quickly we must do a higher level of work. Yes, more work, but the work can be very enjoyable.
In order to do significantly more work in a day or week means we must find a way to make it more enjoyable and less stressful because we can only handle so much higher intensity work. So what I've been doing is greatly increasing my workload by doing really high rep sets with light weights... think 30-100 reps at a time and doing multiple sets. This work is way easier, but the total workload is actually much higher than most normal workouts. This also produces a counterintuitive effect on the body because the light work seems to accelerate recovery, making it possible to do even more work.
I am praying for you.
