In Matthew 7:7-12 Jesus says, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
Lately we have been talking about how Heaven is the storehouse of God's supply and he has some good gifts waiting for us. Every good and perfect is from above. But he does tell us to ask, seek, and knock for what he has for us.
Today's communion meditation is a time of gratitude for all God has prepared for us. And we are asking for his help to ask, seek, and knock the way he intended us to.
Today's Workout/Health Tip
If you ever find you don't have time to do a full workout in a day then try breaking it up into little pieces throughout the day. For example, you could do a few minutes of exercise in the morning, a few more at lunch, and a few more minutes in the evening. If you don't have equipment easily available for this then you can do bodyweight exercises like squats, pushups, situps, burpees, etc.
I am praying for you.
