Be Dressed for Service

Here is today's communion meditation.

In Luke 12:35-36 Jesus said, " “Be dressed ready for service(action) and keep your lamps burning, 36 like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him." 

We recently passed through the Day of Pentecost, and Jesus told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they were clothed with power from on high. And now on the other side of Pentecost we have a reminder to be dressed and ready for service and action. 

On the Day of Pentecost, there were what appeared to be tongues of fire resting on the disciples, and now we are to keep our lamps burning.

In today's communion we are asking God to help us be dressed ready for service and keep our lamps burning. 

Today's Health and Fitness Tip

The other day we launched a new program called God's Plan for Accelerated Body Transformation, where the goal is to lose 10 pounds in the next month... and do it God's way. 

And the goal is not just to lose weight, but more specifically to transform our body. One of the biggest indicators that we are on track is that our clothes fit differently.
