Good morning!
Here is today's communion meditation.
Haggai 2:4 God is speaking to the people about restoring the temple and He says, " Be strong, all you people of the land,’ declares the LORD, ‘and work. For I am with you,’ declares the LORD Almighty."
The phrase "be strong and do the work," is also what David tells Solomon when he charges him to build the temple.
First we have to be strong, courageous, and decisive. Once the decision is made, we can get to work, and we can work trusting that God is with us blessing the work of our hands.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that God is with us and we are asking Him to help us be strong and do the work he has called us to do.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Be strong and do the work is also a principle for workouts. Doing your heavier strength exercises first in the workouts, activates the body so that the work with medium or lighter weights feels easier.
I am praying for you.
