Here is today's communion meditation.
The ability to stay calm under pressure is very powerful.
Ecclesiastes 10:4 says, " If a ruler’s anger rises against you, do not leave your post; calmness can lay great offenses to rest."
Calmness can lay great offenses to rest and transform pressure packed situations. But, where does the ability to stay calm come from? It comes from confidence in God being with us, and being confident that we have his grace, mastery, peace, and so much more. Calmness comes from confidence.
In today's communion we are asking God to greatly increase our ability to stay calm.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
One of the goals of our workouts should be to increase what we can do while staying totally calm. There have been times when I worked out and my body was definitely not in a calm state, and I found that those times didn't produce nearly the results as when my body was calm and under control, even though it was doing a challenging exercise.
