Crowned with Victory

Here is today's communion meditation.

Psalm 149:4 NIV says, "For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.

The word "crowns," can also be translated as beautify, glorify, or honor.

And the word "victory," is the Hebrew word "Yeshua," which is the name of Jesus. Yeshua can be translated as salvation, deliverance, victory, welfare, and prosperity.

So this verse could read... God beautifies the humble with Yeshua (Jesus).

Today's communion is a time of gratitude that God delights in us. And we are asking God to beautify is in Christ, as we walk in humility.

For power development, research shows that the highest levels of power are actually produced with lighter to medium level amounts of weight or resistance. When we lift too heavy it reduces power. Therefore, if we take a humbler approach to weight lifting it usually produces a better result, because God gives grace to the humble and we can produce more power.
