Hey Everyone!
Here is today's communion meditation.
In John 18 Judas has betrayed Jesus, and the officials come to arrest Jesus. In verses 10-11 it says, "Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant and cut off his right ear. (The servant’s name was Malchus.) 11 So Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword into its sheath; shall I not drink the cup that the Father has given me?”
Jesus prayed three times that the cup he was to drink would be taken from him. But, he went through with it anyway.
What was this cup?
It was the cup of God's wrath being poured onto him. All of God's anger and frustration had been stored up and was overflowing. The cup of his wrath was overflowing and it was poured onto Jesus so that we can have the cup of the New Covenant, the cup of thanksgiving, the cup of blessing.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that Jesus was willing to drink the cup the Father gave him, even though he didn't want to at first. And we are asking God to help us understand the cup that Jesus drank and the cup that we now drink because of him.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
If you set a PR or new best in something, stop for the day. You've done enough to stimulate progress, so save the rest for another day.
I am praying for you.

P.S. Remember the Master is with you, he loves you, and nothing is impossible for him.
