Today we are taking communion over 2 Corinthians 8:7-9 where the apostle Paul tells the people to excel in the grace of giving. If giving is a grace, then we need God's help to excel in it. Today's communion is a time of gratitude that God can cause us to excel in everything and that Jesus became poor for our sakes. And we are asking God to help us excel in the grace of giving.
2 Corinthians 8:7-9 But since you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you —see that you also excel in this grace of giving. I am not commanding you, but I want to test the sincerity of your love by comparing it with the earnestness of others. 9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.
Today's Health/Fitness Tip
Yesterday I had a workout partner join me for my Daily Workout and I was reminded of how much of a difference a good workout partner can make. A good workout partner can provide accountability to show up for the workout, but even more importantly a good workout partner will take your workout to a new level. Iron sharpens iron.
I am praying for you.
