Good morning,

Today is Speak Life Saturday (The Faith Accelerator)

Focus on speaking life today... With the words that you speak and the tone you speak with. 

Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 

Let your speech always be seasoned with grace. 

Here is the message for February - Lift Up a Standard.

 This year our message for the year is "Lift Up Your Eyes to True North."

Isaiah 59:19 says, "When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him."

In my book "The 8th Date," there is a section about God's standard of grace. 

In the scriptures we are told to set our minds on the things above, but what are these things?

I have learned that they are God's standards, which serve like true north on a compass to help guide our lives.

And God's standard is grace, that he is continually doing good for us all the time, even when we don't deserve it. 

Our role as a covenant partner is to give ourselves and others the same grace he has given us. 

This understanding of grace can guide our decision making like true north on a compass. 

In today's communion meditation we are asking God to lift up a standard in our lives.
