Good morning!
Here is today's communion meditation.
Yesterday we talked about Deuteronomy 15:2 which says, "They shall not require payment from anyone among their own people, because the LORD’s time for canceling debts has been proclaimed."
Debt forgiveness is also a big part of the Lord's prayer.
In the Lord's prayer in Matthew 6:12 it says, "And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors."
If you think about the debt cancellation that occurred in the Sabbath years or Jubilee in the Old Testament it was a two-way street.
Your debt could be forgiven but you also had to cancel the debt that others owed you. Forgiving the debts of others is part of the process of having our debts forgiven.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us walk in the same forgiveness he has given us so that any debts we have can be canceled.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
If you have joint pain one of the easiest things you can do to see improvement is stretching before bed.
I am praying for you.
