God Makes Our Lot Secure

Here is today's communion meditation.

Yesterday we talked about how casting lots was the method used to distribute the promised land to the people. Casting lots was like rolling dice or flipping a coin which provided an unbiased way to determine where their property would be. 

Psalm 16:5-6 says, " Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure. 6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance."

In Christ we have an amazing promised land... All of the promises of God. And all of the promises in Christ are "yes," and "amen." 

Our lot and inheritance is secure and has fallen in a pleasant place. 

Today's communion is a time of gratitude for our inheritance in Christ. 

Today's Health and Fitness Tip

If during a workout something hurts or feels tight/restricted give the area a very light touch with the same amount of pressure you'd use to open an app on your phone. Then repeat the movement. Most of the time the pain/restriction will be greatly reduced.
