Today's communion is a time of gratitude that Jesus was crushed by God for our iniquities and it pleased God to crush him because it gave him the ability crush Satan under our feet. Some scriptures say under the feet of Jesus while others say our feet, but we are one with him.
Isaiah 53:4-6 says...
Surely He took on our infirmities and carried our sorrows; yet we considered Him stricken by God, struck down and afflicted. 5 But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. 6We all like sheep have gone astray, each one has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid upon Him the iniquity of us all.
And Romans 16:20 says, "The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet."
1 Corinthians 15:25 says, "For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet."
Today's Workout/Health Tip
One of the keys to getting leaner is what is called nutrient partitioning, which is just a fancy way to say how food is used within the body. When we have good nutrient partitioning the calories that come in are put to work within the body rather than stored. Think of this like income coming to you. The money can sit around piling up doing nothing or it can be put to work. In the parable of the talents the guy who had the most ability and doubled his money IMMEDIATELY put his money to work. Living at a higher activity level helps to put the nutrition to work and keeps it from getting stored up. My wife has always been very lean and a habit she has had for as long as I have known her is that whenever she feels overly full or sluggish she starts exercising for a couple of minutes, and I think what she has practiced all these years is putting the excess nutrients to work.
I am praying for you.
