Here is today's communion meditation.
The way God designed our bodies to function is that health is supposed to flow from the inside out, from our spirit, through our mind and emotions, and into our physical bodies. A big part of this process is storing up God's word in our heart by having it in coming into our ears and eyes consistently.
Proverbs 4:20-23 NIV says...
My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words.
21 Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart;
22 for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body.
23 Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that God's word is life and health to our whole body.
Today's Health/Workout Tip
Jesus said that the little children have the secrets, and little children move really well. They jump, run, throw and move in all sorts of directions. If we stop doing these things as we get older, we lose these abilities, but this doesn't have to be the case. Part of the Daily Communion Workout is a mobility routine. This simple routine only takes a few minutes, but it works to restore the body's ability to move. The benefits of this simple routine are more freedom in your movement, less aches and pains, increased energy, and better performance in the rest of the workout. If you watch the Daily Mobility Routine and it looks too advanced for you, then do what you can you do safely. Everyday work to be able to move more and more like a kid again. This can be restored at any age!
