Here is today's communion meditation.
In Matthew 25 is the parable of the talents and in verse 15 it says, "To one he gave five talents, to another, two, and to another, one, each according to his own ability; and he went on his journey."
The word for "ability," in this passage is the Greek word "dunamis."
Dunamis is where we get our word dynamite from and it means, (miraculous) power, might, strength
It can be used as (a) physical power, force, might, ability, efficacy, energy, meaning or powerful deeds, deeds showing (physical) power, marvelous works.
Ephesians 3:20 says God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power(dunamis) that is at work within us.
God gives us dunamis power that we are supposed to put to work, and when we do it increases our ability.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude for God's dunamis power and we are asking Him to help us put it to work the way he desires.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
God is supplying the grace, energy, health, strength, endurance, etc today for exercise but we must put it to work.
