Looking Ahead

With all that is going on in the world I think it is important to know where we are on Gods calendar. Here is what is coming in the upcoming weeks.

Passover is April 8th - Passover is a big communion meal where you look back at all the ways God has come through for you, and you tell your children your testimonies. Passover is also a reminder to live by faith in Jesus which means you are handling tough situations with gratitude and adaptability because nothing is impossible with God.

Unleavened Bread  April 9th - 16th: Unleavened Bread is clean out time. It is spring cleaning and the old is cleaned out to make room for the new. It is a reminder that Jesus is your righteousness. God wants to help you because of Jesus and not anything you have done. 

First Fruits April 11th - This is like Easter, a reminder that Jesus was raised from the dead and that God planted his spirit into our hearts. You now have the same power that raised Jesus from the dead living in you and it will bring life to all your body(Romans 8:11) This is a reminder that God makes all things new and that he wants to do something new this year. 

A Tsunami of Blessing

Recently I was praying and the phrase "a tsunami of blessing is coming" kept coming up. Then the next morning when I turned on my computer, my daughter had left a game up that had a picture of a huge wave with a surfer trying to catch the wave. I know it doesn't look like it right now but God keeps confirming that a tsunami of blessing is coming. But like a surfer trying to catch a wave you must start paddling forward before the wave gets here. The way you do this is by giving. What do you have to give and bless people with?

Start giving ahead of the wave, and start today. When the flood came on Noah the ark came to rest on the top of the mountains. This tsunami is going to lift many people higher and put them at the top of a mountain that they didn't have to climb.
