March Message: Turn It Around and the Best Will Be Found

Here is the Message for March.

Our message for the year of 2023 is "God Saved the Best Until Now," and our message for March is... Turn It Around and the Best Will Be Found

A big day in March is Purim, which is March 6-7 this year. Purim is a picture of the tables being turned. A law was written that was going to destroy God's people, but Queen Esther approached the king about writing a new law that would override the old law. Jesus did the same for us. He said that he did not come to abolish or do away with the Old Covenant, but he brought in a New Covenant that sits above and overrides the Old. 

The picture of Purim is turning what was a major problem into an opportunity. The way they remember this is by fasting during the daylight hours on 3/6/23 this year and then feasting in the evening. This symbolizes how quickly God can take us from fasting to feasting. And part of the way this happened was that the King told Esther to write what she wanted. In a similar way Jesus told us that if we abide in him, we can ask for whatever we want. When we face problem writing or asking for what we want can illuminate the path to turn it around so that the best will be found. 

Another big part of turning things around is our emotions. To turn things around we usually need to turn our emotions around and the key/table turner in our emotions is the imagination. If we will focus on our imagination on God being with us through the problems, it will help us turn it around so that the best is found.
