This month our challenge is to connect on a new level... With God, our purpose, our loved ones, and community.
This week we are prioritizing connecting with God.
In Job 36:3-4 a young man named Elihu is speaking to Job, and at the end of the book of Job, Elihu is the only who God doesn't rebuke for his words. Elihu says, "I get my knowledge from afar; I will ascribe justice to my Maker. 4 Be assured that my words are not false; one who has perfect knowledge is with you."
God is perfect in knowledge. I always think of knowledge as knowing what to do at the perfect time. Sometimes situations change and the right thing to do changes as well. Knowledge gives us the ability to know what to do in any situation. And God is perfect in knowledge.
Colossians 2:2-3 says My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that God is perfect in knowledge and in Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. And we are asking God to help us connect with the perfect knowledge that is hidden in Christ and walk in it from this point on in our lives.
Today's Health/Fitness Tip
Most people know what to do when it comes to health and fitness. Inside we know, but we often have trouble walking it out. Nothing fancy is needed, basic fundamentals practiced consistently with focus and presence.
I am praying for you.
