Here is today's communion meditation.
In Isaiah 43:25-26 God says, “I, I am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins. Put me in remembrance; let us argue together; set forth your case, that you may be proved right.
God blots out our transgressions for His sake, not ours, so that he will not remember our sins. 1 Corinthians 13 says that love keeps no record of wrongs.
When we put God in remembrance of us, he now sees who we are in Christ.
Jesus said as often as we take communion to remember him. It is an opportunity to stir his sacrifice into our remembrance to that we don't forget that he is with us. And it is also an opportunity to commune with God and put him in remembrance of us as well. And when he remembers us, the result is that we are proved right or righteous in his sight because of Christ.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that God does not remember our sins and a time to put him into remembrance of us. We are also asking for his help to grow in this in our relationships with other people. That we would walk in a higher level of love by keeping no record of wrongs.
Today's Health/Workout Tip
In the Daily Communion Workout, the first exercise in the weightlifting section is a Dumbbell or Barbell Snatch. The goal of the snatch is speed and quickness. It is called the world's fastest lift. A snatch involves taking a weight from below the knees up over your head in one swift fast movement.
If you are a beginner, I would highly recommend that you only do section 1 of the workout and focus on mastering this section first. But, for those who are ready for weightlifting the goal of the snatch is not super heavy weight, but speed. Speed wakes up and activates the body. Speed is also a very important quality to train, especially as we get older, because the natural tendency is to stop moving fast.
Substitute with Punching - If you can't do the snatch either because of physical limitations or a lack of equipment then you can substitute this exercise with punching. Focus on throwing a few combinations of punches with speed.
I am praying for you.
