Here is today's communion meditation.
Yesterday we looked at the passage in Ephesians 1 that says Jesus is far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is named. Today we are looking at Ephesians 2:4-7 which says that we have also been raised up with Christ and seated in the heavenly realms with him.
Ephesians 2:4-7 - But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us understand what it means for us that we have been raised up with Christ and seated in heavenly realms. And we are asking God to help us convert that understanding into practical application that makes a difference in our lives.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Physical exercise is meant to teach us how to exercise our faith. Often the hardest part is getting started. It takes some courage and effort to break the inertia of not exercising and take action. Once we get started it's important to keep the momentum going. On the days when we don't feel like working out it's very important to do something to keep the habit.
I am praying for you.
Daniel
