September - Resetting Priorities

Good morning!

Today's communion meditation is for the month of September.

This year our message/theme for the year is, "The Great Reset."

And our message for September is "Resetting Priorities."

The order of our priorities determines many of the everyday decisions we make, so getting our priorities in the right order can have a big impact on how we experience life. And putting a boundary around our priorities can help us create more order in our life, which makes everything feel easier. 

I think the order of our priorities should be:

1) Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. I like to think of this as seeking God's way of doing things. 

2) Take care of your health... Spirit, soul, and body. It's hard to prioritize other people if you are feeling drained. 

3) Family starting with your spouse, then kids, then extended family/friends.

4) Business and ministry

5) Prioritize people over money and stuff. 

 In today's communion we are asking God to help us reset and create firm boundaries around our priorities in the way he intended our priorities to be set.
