New Tool for Planning Your Day
As part of the communion meditations here is a new tool to plan your day. It's a page on the website that you can fill out before taking communion. Once the form is filled out a copy of your daily plan will be emailed to you. This is new so let me know if you have any feedback.

Today's Communion Meditation
Lately my morning routine has been to wake up and do my Bible reading, make breakfast for my family, and then start recording the daily communion message. But, yesterday I didn't record a video in the morning because Tuesday night I recorded the communion time we did live on Zoom. As I was going through the day yesterday I noticed that my emotions were different. Little things were bothering me more than normal. I began to realize just how powerful communion is for our emotions. We are a 3 part being...Spirit, soul, and body and communion unites them all together. It is very powerful for our mind and emotions.
In Philippians 2:13-16 it says It is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life.
Part of the 30 Day Prayer Challenge prayer is that God would make his face shine upon us. He is the light and the one who makes us shine. The Psalms tell us that those who look upon him are radiant. When Moses was in the presence of God's glory his face was shining, but Moses couldn't see God's face, only his back.
Because of Jesus we have been given an anointing from God that allows us to stand in his presence with freedom and confidence. In the Old Testament only the High Priest could go into the Holy of Holies, and even he could only go in one day per year. And when he went in they had to tie a rope around his waist so they could pull him out if he died. God is light, an all consuming fire, and His light and glory makes us shine as he works within us to fulfill his good purpose.
As we take communion today let us do so with awe and reverence for Jesus, that he is the light and because of him we can stand in God's presence so that we shine like stars.
I am praying for you.
Daniel
