Surpassing Greatness of God

Today is day 5 of the 7 days of the Feast of Tabernacles, which is a reminder that God's glory is within us. 

Lately verses about the all surpassing greatness, power, and grace of God keep coming up. 

The definition of surpass means to exceed greatly, go beyond, or transcend reach, capacity, or powers of beauty. God's greatness, power, and grace are unlimited and inexhaustible and only limited by our capacity to receive from him, understand, and put it to work in our lives.

Here are some verses to meditate on to help us magnify his all surpassing greatness...

• Psalm 150:2...Praise him for his mighty acts! Praise him for his surpassing greatness! 
• 2 Corinthians 4:7...But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves;
• 2 Corinthians 9:14...And they will have deep affection for you in their prayers on your behalf because of the surpassing grace of God in you. 
• Ephesians 1:19... And what the surpassing greatness of his power towards us who believe, according to the working of the might of his strength,
• Ephesians 2:7... That he might display in the coming ages the surpassing riches of his grace in kindness towards us in Christ Jesus.
• Philippians 4:7... And the peace of God, that is surpassing all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
