Here is today's communion meditation.
This month our message is, "Being Bold Leads to God's Best.'
In the book of Daniel after the decree had been written that anyone praying to God would be thrown in the lion's den it says the following in Daniel 6:10:
"Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before."
Think about the boldness of Daniel, he still prayed with the window open. Windows allow for air, light, and vision. His vision was Jerusalem, he was waiting for his people to be restored to Jerusalem. When he was under pressure he prayed while keeping an eye on God and the vision.
He could be bold because he kept his eyes on God.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us understand the boldness Daniel had to pray with the window open, and to apply this understanding to our lives.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Sometimes we just have small windows of time to workout. During these days when you are pressed on time, try doing mini workouts throughout the day of 1-5 minutes, with whatever windows of time you have available.
