Here is this week's Yearly Cycle Update.

Today is day 5 of the Daniel Fast and the 10 Days of Awe that lead up to the Day of Atonement (evening of Oct 4-evening of Oct 5th).

The Day of Atonement is like a major deadline on the calendar. It was the one day of the year when the High Priest could go into the Holy of Holies and make atonement for the sins of the people. So a big emphasis was put on getting everything righted before that day. This time of year, is a reminder to be searching our hearts, following God's promptings, and taking action on what we know to do. 

The Day of Atonement is a reminder that Jesus is our faithful high priest and he has cleansed us.
