Here is today's communion meditation.
The other day my youngest daughter was drawing a picture of Jesus. When she finished, she brought it over to me and said, "I even drew the holes in his hands." With Passover and Easter approaching it got me thinking about the significance of the holes in his hands and what they mean for us.
My first thought was the Old Testament scriptures about how the people would have purses or money bags with holes in them that would never stay full, when they weren't doing things God's way. It also got me thinking about the time that slips away. I am not sure if there is a connection to these things, so in today's communion we are asking God to teach us about the holes in the hands of Jesus and what they mean for us.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Our hands are made to secure things. Whenever you are lifting weights make sure to grip them firmly.
I am praying for you.
