The Light of God's Face

This month our challenge is to connect on a new level... With God, our purpose, our loved ones, and community.

So far, we have worked on bringing a new level of awe and presence to our time of connecting with God and on connecting spirit, soul, and body. 

This week we are focusing on connecting with those closest to us by honoring their attempts to connect with us. Catch at least 80% of all their bids and throw some bids their way. 

Psalm 44:2-3 says...

With your hand you drove out the nations and planted our fathers; you crushed the peoples and made our fathers flourish. It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.

Our theme for this year has been The Year of the Beautiful Land. And recently God has given me some greater insight into the beautiful land, which is the inheritance he has given us in Christ. We don't possess this land through our own efforts. The victory comes as an expression of God's love for us, from his right hand and the light of his face. 

Today's communion is a time of gratitude for the inheritance God has given us in Christ, given to us through his great love for us. And we are asking for a greater revelation of his love and the light of his face so that His love can flow through us to others, starting with those closest to us. 

Today's Health/Fitness Tip

Our bodies have an amazing ability to be restored. If an area of the body needs to be restored the key is to take consistent action on what you know to do and can do safely without pain. When we start small and keep taking action it is amazing how the body can be restored. The hardest part of this is humility and staying encouraged because we often want to push to make it happen faster which only slows down the progress, and we get discouraged because it takes a little time.
