The Right Word at the Right Time

Here is today's communion meditation.

Proverbs 25:11-12 in the MSG version says...

The right word at the right time is like a custom-made piece of jewelry,

And a wise friend’s timely reprimand is like a gold ring slipped on your finger.

One word from God can change the trajectory of our lives. Every year during this time of the year I begin seeking God about his word or direction for the next year. God has a unique word that is like a custom-made piece of jewelry for each of us. He knows how to give us the right word at the right time, and it is a perfect fit for our life.

These words from God may come by hearing something from him on the inside, they may come while reading the Bible, they may come through other people as God speaks through them. or it may be a combination of these. 

Today's communion is a time of gratitude that God knows how to give us the right word at the right time, and we are asking him what his unique word is for us at this time. We are also asking him to give us the right words at the right time as we interact and speak with others.
