Trust the Plan

God has a plan for each of our lives but he gives us the choice to do our own thing or to walk out his plan. His plan is designed to be walked out in partnership with him, which means it may look impossible. As we walk out his plan it won't always take the path we expected and this is where it's important to trust in the plan.

God is leading us to a spacious beautiful place but the path is often curved. It may seem like it is going the wrong direction for a while, but it is the better path. The curved path is gentler and gives us time to prepare for where God is leading us. The curved path also accelerates up very quickly when we get close to the goal. But, when you are in the middle of the curve it's important to keep trusting. 

Confidence is one of the highest expression of trust. Confidence and boldness is the state where all doubt is removed. Often as we execute the things we know to do there are some doubts that are holding us back. The goal is to execute the things we know to do with total confidence in God. This is not confidence in ourselves but confidence in God being with us and what he can do.  

As we take communion today let it be a time to meditate on God's steadfast unfailing love. The Psalms say to put our hope and trust in God's unfailing love. He will never let us down. Keep trusting and executing with confidence in God through the curves.

2) Take a few minutes to examine yourself, plan your day with God, and listen. Here are some good questions.

1.  What were your wins over the last 24 hours?
2. Did you have overflowing levels of peace? It is either yes or no.
3. Did you have overflowing levels of joy? It is either yes or no. 
4. What do you know to do over the next 24 hours? List little things + things you feel God is prompting.
5. What is the most important thing you feel God is teaching you over the last 24 hour?

3) Meditate on the daily communion teaching for a few minutes.

4) Take communion. At our house we take communion daily and keep a box of matzo crackers and grape juice on hand. 

5) Execute your plan with a good attitude trusting that God is helping you.
