Turn and Be Forgiven

Earlier this year we discussed scriptures that say that healing, prosperity, and times of refreshing all come from turning to the Lord. The other day I was reading Mark 4:11-12 and using the same pattern in scripture it says that forgiveness comes after turning. Here are some scriptures to meditate on today. Notice the connections between forgiveness, health, life, and prosperity all found in the same patterns of scripture. 

Jesus replied, “The mystery of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to those on the outside everything is expressed in parables, 12 so that, ‘ they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven.’” Mark 4:11-12

And He replied: “Go and tell this people, ‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’ 10 Make the hearts of this people calloused; deafen their ears and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.” Isaiah 6:9-10

For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’ Matthew 13:15

In Deuteronomy 30 NIV the subtitle of the chapter reads... Prosperity After Turning to the Lord

Here is one more scripture to connect with these. Notice how life and prosperity are connected... See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. Deuteronomy 30:15
