What's Playing on Your TV?

What's playing on the TV of your imagination? If we had to make a TV guide schedule for what is playing in your mind each day what would it say?

For some people it might be the history channel because they keep replaying bad things from the past. For some people it might be the weather channel because they keep looking at the upcoming storms. For some people it might be medical shows because they keep thinking about all that is wrong with them. For some people it may be dramas, because they keep meditating on the ways people have wronged them. Many of these shows are playing on repeat over and over. 

In the Abundant Life Blueprint our imagination is what I call the table turner for the soul. We are spirit, soul, and body and unless we win the battle in the imagination it is nearly impossible to walk in all God has for us. The imagination combines the beliefs in your heart, your thoughts, and emotions. Therefore, by changing the TV guide of what is playing continually in your mind you can reprogram your beliefs, thoughts, and emotions. It is that powerful. 

Here is what I believe should be playing... That God is with you in everything you do, that he has unconditional unfailing love for you, and that nothing is impossible for him. He has given you grace and his grace helps us to give others the same grace he has given us. We can also play on loop mode that we are seated in heavenly places with Christ at God's right hand, and in his presence there is fullness of joy. The real test is when issues come your way, does the channel change?

In today's communion we are asking God to help us stay tuned into HIS channel all day. Then we need to take the first step. Start to stir the image of him being with you in your mind and he will help from there. We are supposed to have childlike faith and kids watch the same shows over and over. Play God's channel until you know it so well you can quote it like your favorite movie.
