Here is this week's Yearly Cycle Update.
This is a time of year when some doors close and new doors open. What often seems like the end of something is really just a new beginning. As these shifts and transitions take place, we must watch our habits. We’ll be tempted to fall back into old patterns and habits. A good example of this in the Bible is Peter. After the death and resurrection of Jesus, Peter goes back to his old way of life and starts fishing again.
In times of change, there will be the temptation to return to old ways. God wants to make all things new, including our daily habits and patterns. If shifts are occurring, the key to successfully making these shifts is being willing to embrace a new way of life and making changes in our daily habits and routines. One of the reasons God built change into the world is to keep pushing us forward to a higher level. Why? Because he loves us too much to allow us to stay the way we are.
Here is this week's filter(reminder) to write at the top of our journals each day... Why Change?
I am praying for you.
Daniel
