Remember
Sometimes when we are facing issues or problems it can be easy to forget that we have God with us. Jesus said as often as we take communion to "remember him." Communion is a very powerful way to keep remembering him so that when we face issues and problems we don't forget.
In Matthew 16:8-10 Jesus had just fed the multitudes with a tiny bit of food by giving us an example of communion as he looked up to heaven, gave thanks, and broke the bread. And then right after this the disciples got into the boat and started arguing about how they didn't have enough bread.
Then Jesus says to them...
"You of little faith, why are you debating among yourselves about having no bread? 9 Do you still not understand? Do you not remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered? 10 Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?
Today's communion is simply a time to remember... We have God with us. And we are asking him to help us keep remembering him.
Today's Health/Fitness Tip
Physical exercise can also be a way we remember Him. Physical exercise is a way to practice experiencing God doing the work through us. As we do this it helps us stay connected with Him and remember Him.
I am praying for you.
