Circles and Shadows
In my book "The 8th Date," there is a section at the very end of the book that talks about circles and shadows. To be honest this section of the book is something God taught me and contains some precise math, but I haven't fully understood how to walk in what he showed me yet.
But lately he keeps bringing the idea of circles back into mind because we have been talking about planning. An important part of planning is accounting for all of the variables. And when thinking of the variables I have found it's helpful to think of a circle surrounding the plan and looking for all the different areas that could be problematic.
When we completely wrap the circle, it means we have light shining from every angle and the shadows/blind spots are removed.
In today's communion we are asking God for help to understand this concept of wrapping areas and plans with circles and to help us walk in this consistently.
Today's Health/Fitness Tip
One of the ways to start practicing wrapping circles around areas is with nutrition and fitness. For example, in fitness when we see someone who is strong but lacks flexibility, symmetry, or endurance or someone with great endurance but lacks strength and power we realize something is off. To wrap a circle around our fitness is to account for strength, speed, power, mobility, flexibility, endurance, control, coordination, and symmetry of the body. I have learned that when we account for all of these it does make light shine and accelerate results.
The same can be done in nutrition. Are we accounting for water, vegetables, fruit, the emotional state we eat in, meal timing, carbs, proteins, fats, micronutrients, probiotics, and the colors and flavors of food.
One shortcut I have found for all of this is to make it beautiful. Make your workout or meal beautiful and it helps to wrap the circle.
I am praying for you.
