The Lord Delivers From All Troubles
This month our challenge is to connect on a new level... With God, our purpose, our loved ones, and community.
This week we are connecting Spirit, soul, and physical body with 10 minutes each day of combining journaling, listening to music, praying in the Spirit, and physical movement all at the same time.
Some people believe that living a life of faith means we will never have problems, but this is not the case. Jesus said in this world we would have troubles, but to be of good cheer because he has overcome the world.
Psalm 34:10 says "The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all."
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that God delivers us from all troubles.
The other day I was reminded of the story of when Melchizedek(who is symbolic of Jesus) brought bread and wine to Abraham after winning a battle. When we are facing issues and problems, it's good to take communion as a way to remember that God delivers us from all troubles. And it's also good to take communion again after he delivers us from troubles as a time of gratitude and giving him the glory.
Today's Health/Fitness Tip
The other day I was practicing connecting spirit, soul, and body in my workout. One of the ways to connect these three is through our breathing. I began to notice that sometimes my breathing was forced. And I began to focus on making it more natural, which made everything feel easier. Whenever connect spirit, soul, and body be gentle with it and make it more natural. Don't try to force it.
I am praying for you.
Daniel
P.S. It's not too late to join us in the Connection Challenge.
