Hearts in Rhythm
This month our challenge is to connect on a new level... With God, our purpose, our loved ones, and community.
Here is what we have worked on so far...
- Bringing a new level of awe and presence to our time of connecting with God
- Connecting spirit, soul, and body
- Connecting with our loved ones.
This week we are focusing on connecting with our community.
At the start of The Connection Challenge a client shared some new research with me about how when we take a moment to think of other people our hearts begin to entrain with one another and beat on a similar rhythm.
There have been times where I would bring people I knew to mind while praying and it would start a chain reaction of bringing someone else to mind, then someone else, etc.
And praying like this seemed to build a connection with those people because after praying our paths would often cross in unexpected ways.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that by thinking of God our hearts can get into rhythm with his. And we are asking for understanding of why he created this principle and for help implementing this concept consistently the way he intended us to so that we better connect with him and others.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Lately we have talked about the concept of bringing our best to the workouts while also making it beautiful. It seems there is a grace that comes on the workouts when this is implemented that allows for better performance in the workouts while also recovering much faster.
I am praying for you.
Daniel
P.S. It's not too late to join us in the Connection Challenge.
