The Choice to Respond
This time of year is a reminder that God gives us free will or free choice. Every day we get to decide if we will be thankful or magnify the problems. We also get to decide how we will respond to things in life. The same thing can happen to two different people, and they can respond in totally different ways.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us understand the power of how we respond and to help us respond consistently in the way that he says is right and best in both the ups and downs of life.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
With health and fitness, I have seen the power of how we respond. I have seen some people not lose as much weight as they hoped which caused them to get discouraged and quit, while others viewed it as a signal to make some adjustments. I have also seen people be really excited about their weight loss only to respond by celebrating and stopping what they were doing because they had lost weight, versus other continuing to do what helped them make progress.
I am praying for you.
