Remember Who You Are
The other day we watched the new Lion King movie as a family. During the main turning point of the story the "hero," hears his father tell him "Remember who you are!" This statement gives him the courage to do what he knows he needs to do.
In a similar way for us to fulfill all God put us here to do it's important for us to remember who we are. We've talked a lot this year about remembering who God/Jesus is and communion is supposed to be something that helps us remember, but it can also be a time to remember who he made us to be. He made us to be his children, righteous, holy, anointed, overcomers, more than conquerors, and so much more.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude for who God made us to be. And we are asking him to help us remember who we are.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
As we remember who we are let that remembrance carry over into our health and fitness. Our identity and who we see ourselves as plays a big role in the actions we take.
I am praying for you.
