Tipping the Balance
Here is today's communion meditation.
The other day I was making popcorn for my kids, and I was reminded of the process of transformation. The kernels were heating up, but they didn't pop instantly. It took a little time, but eventually when the conditions were right for enough time the kernels popped and were transformed into something totally different. The same is true of boiling or freezing water and many other things in life.
One of the big concepts we talked about last year was the basket of problems being on the opposite side of a balancing scale from the basket of praise. When one side is filled up enough it tips the balance. The challenge is that it doesn't happen instantly. We have to create the right conditions for the right amount of time, but when we do the transformation can happen very quickly.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us understand tipping points and how transformation happens and to apply our understanding to our walk with him.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Transformations in our physical body happen the same way. If we create the right environment for a long enough period of time, our bodies will transform.
I am praying for you.
