Use All of God's Might
Here is today's communion meditation.
Ecclesiastes 9:10 says, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might."
The Hebrew word for "might," is "koach," which means the creative power of God. It also means strength, ability, force, substance, wealth, and a weird translation is the strength of a reptile.
Recently we looked at when Samuel anointed Saul to be king, and he told him that after the Spirit rushed upon him to do whatever his hand found to do, because God was with him. This was a picture of Pentecost, where believers were clothed with power from on high.
Now that we have God's spirit, whatever our hand finds to do, we can do it with all of God's might, and not our own.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us understand the significance of having his koach, and we are asking him to help us use all of his might.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Recently we started God's Plan for Accelerated Body Transformation. In the program we focus on two things in fitness... Power and walking with God.
When it comes to power, we can use God's power, and something I been doing lately is doing each rep with all of God's might. In a normal set of 20 pushups, the first 15 or so reps usually don't use all of our might, but the last ones do. What I have been doing is focusing on accelerating with all of my might on every single rep. When we do it this way, we don't need to do as many reps, because each rep is more powerful, and so far, it seems to accelerate results.
I am praying for you.
