Make Two Into One
Here is today's communion meditation.
Our message for July is, " Being Bold Leads to God's Best."
The other day we looked at Ephesians 6:19 which says, "Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will boldly make known the mystery of the gospel."
And 1 Corinthians 4:1 says that God has made us to be stewards of the mysteries of God.
In my book "Cracking Heaven's Code." there is a chapter on the mysteries of God and how they serve as the rules that govern the way our bodies work.
The 6th mystery in "Cracking Heaven's Code," is the mystery of making two into one
Mark 10:8 says, "and the two shall become one flesh; so they are no longer two, but one flesh."
Whenever we are faced with two opposing things, they are really meant to work together as one. They are really just opposite ends of one spectrum.
But, whenever we make two into one, the key is to slow down. Think of two streams of traffic merging together into one lane. Both streams must slow down and yield to each other in order to safely merge.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us understand the mystery of making two into one, and to apply this the way he intended.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Our bodies are built with opposing pairs. For example, the bicep moves the arm one direction while the triceps do the exact opposite. But the two sides of the arm are meant to work together as one. One of the best ways to make these connections in our mind is by slowing down the tempo of our lifts. When we slow down we can feel how all of the muscles move together.
I am praying for you.
