Woven Together for Good
Here is today's communion meditation.
The other day I came across Romans 8:28 TPT which says, "We are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good."
Lately I have been thinking about the word, "hope." The Amplified Bible describes hope as "the confident expectation of good."
In Hebrew one of the words for hope is "tiqvah," which is also translated as a "cord." Think of a cord as a collection of fabrics woven together.
We can have hope(confident expectation) that God is weaving every detail of lives together for good. This confidence is not in ourselves, but in God, who never changes.
In today's communion let's take a moment to examine whether we are approaching our day with confident expectation for good, or are we walking in fear, dread, and uncertainty. Then we are going to activate this promise so that we start walking in confident expectation that God is working every detail together for our good.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
The Bible says our bodies are knit or woven together. God knit them together for good. Sometimes we do isolation movements that only work one muscle at a time, such as a bicep curl, but it's also good to do bigger movements that knit everything together.
