Death No Longer Has Mastery Over Him
Here is today's communion meditation.
Over the last couple of years, we've talked about the pipeline of living water God put within us that has God's spirit, wisdom, power, mind, grace, peace, joy, patience, love, health, energy, finances, and much more.
Think about this for a moment... You don't have to use your wisdom, instead you can use God's.
You don't have to rely on your level of peace, joy, energy, or patience. You can use God's.
And His supply is unlimited and inexhaustible.
While I was thinking about this the other day, I felt like God said to me, "I have also given you my mastery."
Romans 6:8-14 says, "Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9 For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10 The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.
11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. 14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace."
Jesus has mastery over death, and sin is no longer our master, because we have God's grace, and part of his grace is His mastery.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that we have God's mastery, and we are asking him to help us have mastery over sin.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Focus on doing 1 rep at a time. If you are doing 8 reps, then think of it as 1 rep 8 times. This increases presence, and accelerates results.
I am praying for you.

P.S. The Feast of Trumpets was last night and today starts the 10 Days of Awe. Last night my kids and I were blowing a shofar(trumpet) and talking about the symbolism of the trumpet, which served as a wake up call to take action and as a reminder that we have God fighting for us, and He has mastery over his enemies.
