Here is today's communion meditation.

The Day of Atonement was a few days ago. In the Old Testament, the Day of Atonement was the one day of the year when the High Priest could enter the Holy of Holies and make atonement for the sins of the people for the year. The place where atonement was made was the mercy seat, which was the covering of the ark of the covenant. And above the mercy seat God is enthrone between the cherubim that surround the ark. 

Hebrews 9:5  says, "Above the ark were the cherubim of the Glory, overshadowing the atonement cover. - Hebrews 9:5

Psalm 80:1 says, "God, you who are enthroned above the cherubim, shine forth!  - Psalm 80:1

Isaiah 37:16 says “O Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, who is enthroned above the cherubim -Isaiah 37:16

In today's communion we are asking God for insight and revelation into what it means for us that he is enthrone above the cherubim. 

Today's Health and Fitness Tip

Something I have been doing lately is several mini(3-5 minute) mini workouts broken up throughout the day. This is a fun way to train.
