That All May See Your Progress
Here is today's communion meditation.
In 1 Timothy 4 Paul is giving instructions to Timothy on how to walk out his faith and he says, in verse 15...
"Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress."
Immersion is one of the fastest ways to see progress, and when we make progress God wants it to be evident to all.
In Matthew 6 Jesus said that what we do in secret God would reward openly.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us practice and immerse ourselves in the things he's called us to so that he can reward us openly and that all may see our progress.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
In our health and fitness when we make great progress it is evident to all, and it opens up an opportunity to talk about how we made progress. When I had my gym business clients progress would lead to referrals, and the same can be true in our relationship with God. As our progress is evident it opens an opportunity to talk about what God has done for us.
I am praying for you.
