Two Choices
Hey Everyone!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Here is today's communion meditation.
In Deuteronomy 30:19-20 God told the people, "I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore choose life, so that you and your descendants may live, 20 and that you may love the LORD your God, obey Him, and hold fast to Him. For He is your life, and He will prolong your life in the land that the LORD swore to give to your fathers."
God always gives us free choice. We get to choose whether we will walk in darkness or the light, walk in God's ways or the world's ways, and he wants us to choose light.
As we celebrate Thanksgiving today, let it be a reminder that one of the best shortcuts to walking in the light is gratitude, because it helps us magnify the right things.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that God gives us free choice, and we are asking Him to help us choose what he says is the best way to go.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
In the workouts there are thresholds to pay attention to. The first threshold is doing enough to stimulate progress. You can feel this by when your body feels activated, strong, primed, etc. And the other threshold is the point where any more work will only fatigue you. The key is to find the sweet spot between these two thresholds. To do enough to stimulate progress and then stop before you fatigue yourself and slow down your progress on future days.
I am praying for you.
Daniel
P.S. Remember the Master is with you, he loves you, and nothing is impossible for him.
