Greater Things
Good morning!
Here is today's communion meditation.
Yesterday we talked about John 10 where it says that during the winter during the Feast of Hanukkah Jesus was at the temple and in verse 38 he said "But if I do his work, believe in the evidence of the miraculous works I have done, even if you don’t believe me. Then you will know and understand that the Father is in me, and I am in the Father.”
In John 14 Jesus talked to his disciples about miraculous works gain. He said in verses 10-12, "Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you, I do not speak on My own. Instead, it is the Father dwelling in Me, performing His works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me— or at least believe on account of the works themselves. Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.…
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that because of Jesus the Father lives in us, and we are asking him to help us walk in the greater things he has for us with there being great evidence of Him performing His works in us and through us.
