This month we've been talking about resetting and expanding your God given vision.

And yesterday we looked at Ezekiel 12:23-25 which says, "‘The days are near when every vision will be fulfilled. 24 For there will be no more false visions or flattering divinations among the people of Israel. 25 But I the Lord will speak what I will, and it shall be fulfilled without delay."

The context of this passage is talking about the negative vision God had given to the people because they were rebellious, but because we are in Christ, God wants to fulfill every good vision he has given us, and he wants to do it speedily, without delay.

If you keep reading in Ezekiel 12:26-28 it says, "The word of the Lord came to me: 27 “Son of man, the Israelites are saying, ‘The vision he sees is for many years from now, and he prophesies about the distant future.’28 “Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”

Sometimes when we think about a vision for the future we think about the distant future, but God can do in one day what we think will take years. 

In today's communion we are asking God to fulfill every word he's given us about our vision, and to do it without delay.

Today's Health and Fitness Tip

An important skill develop in your health and fitness is encouraging yourself in the Lord. There will be days when it seems like you don't have the energy or strength, and on those days, we must learn to encourage ourselves in the Lord so that we keep moving forward.
