See the Flowers

Season #1 Episode #494

Good morning!

Today is Thoughtful Thursday ( The Purpose & Community Accelerator)

(You can learn more about the 7 Accelerators here)

Today do something thoughtful for someone else. Connect them with something they need or do something to make their day.

This is the purpose and community accelerator.

We each have a unique gifting that is meant to serve the community of people around us, and one of the ways to do this is by looking for opportunities to help people with your gifts, talents, resources, network, etc.

Here is today's communion meditation.

This month we are talking about Resetting the Imagination.

In the gospels Jesus gives us some amazing pictures that we can use to reset our imagination.

In Matthew 6:26-30 Jesus said, "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?

We can reset our imagination away from worrying and toward God taking care of us without our toiling away.

In today's communion we are asking God to help us help us reset our imagination to see all the ways that he takes care of us.

Today's Health and Fitness Tip

I once came across a saying that "truly strong people, rarely show how strong they are." I've found this to be true in the gym. Really strong people rarely test their limits to see how strong they are. Instead, they train with weights that are well within their limits and get quality practice with those weights.

I am praying for you.

Daniel

P.S. Remember the Master is with you, he loves you, and nothing is impossible for him.
